What is ShakPack.Chat?
A modified and more complete version of Belgarath's Beginner Package from the Meetplace Mudlet forum. It's main use is to capture tells, shouts etc and put them into a side window so they don't get lose in spam. It is also heavily used(but not required) for printing messages from other packages.

Requirements
This package requires ShakPack.System(v1.02) or higher to function.
Functionality
Multiple Tabs
By default has 6 tabs: All, Personal, City Channels, Other Channels, Combat, System. Tabs are customisable but require learning how the chat system works(it is much more complicated then most else).
Chat
Has triggers to automatically capture and add conversation type text to the Chat window, if you think something is being missed and shouldn't be, please give a suggestion in the way detailed on the main wiki page. Default colours for different text types, with default sample here.
Printing Messages
More to do with the ShakPack.System package, but most often you will be using the System functions to print to the chat window, which requires this package.
Customising
This image shows what variables to edit in a script file to change size of the window. After customising the "fixchat" alias can be used to reload the settings, "fixchat" is also useful if it goes wonky sometimes.
